NJI\u2019s first class was held in September 1972. The first classes were held in an office suite in a rented medical professional building at 800 Teaneck Rd., Teaneck, NJ. During the first year, courses were taught by Joel Bernstein, PhD, Neil Wilson, PhD and Michaela Babakin, MSW. The following year, William Krawosky and Art Robbins joined the faculty<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-9c436b4 elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"9c436b4\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<p>In April 1980, NJI was incorporated as a nonprofit organization under the name The Psychoanalytic Training Institute of New Jersey, Inc. A move was made to quarters in a Dutch Colonial brownstone house at 800 Catalpa Ave, Teaneck, NJ.
